Family
We are very excited to announce that our family is going to grow as we are expecting another baby. The due date is April 5, 2008 within a week of Ronan’s due date. Unless there was some very clever hiding going on during the ultrasound, there is only one heartbeat in there. Mom is feeling nauseous on and off for most of the day and of course tired but hopefully that will turn around soon.
Very early on, when we still weren’t sure of the pregnancy, Ronan announced at dinner that "Mommy’s having a baby". It was a bit of a Stephen King moment. If he had turned to me and said, "you have car crash" I would have been staying home the rest of the week. I suppose they must have been discussing it a school (not school, pre-school) as a few of the other kid’s mothers are pregnant.
Ronan is confident that it will be a "boy baby"; however, he is also confident that the baby will be "in his belly soon". He gets quite disappointed when we explain that only Mommies can have babies and he won’t be getting one in his belly.

A warm and hearty congratulations to you! Life is about to get alot more interesting! Tee Hee. April 5th is Elliot's birthday, but due date births dont'often happen (Elliot being a case in point...8 weeks early!). We are probably visiting next May/June again so I am excited that we will get to meet the baby! Regarding Ronan announcing that mommy is going to have a baby, I often wonder if small children are psychic. Oliver often came out with things that I couldn't figure out how he could possibly know...I wish I had written them down but I didn't and now I forget, but I remember feeling that he had the knowledge of an old man sometimes!

Congratulations to you all!!!!! Carrie, I can totally sympathize with you on the nausea and sickness. I'm still feeling it at times and I'm 15 and a half weeks. Very exciting news.
